Recently had work completed by Dan and his excellent team. They always worked in a clean and courteous manner, leaving our property tidy and swept each evening. Dans professional advice and dedication throughout the job has given us a wonderful bespoke finish. We would not hesitate to use Black Lion Roofing again or recommend to friends.

He is very professional as are the team he used. They completed the work in the agreed time and cost. He stripped, re-felted and re patterned our roof using new tiles. He is one of the nicest men you will meet polite and honest. The work was completed to excellent standard and everyone has commented on the roof and professionalism of how the work was carried out and completed I would recommend Dan and his team 100%

I had already had two quotes, but when I had questions they didn’t bother replying. Dan called round and discussed the job, gave me a price and then followed up with a written quote. The men were polite and more importantly, skilled and hard-working. They gave me confidence that they could work around the weather and handled the downpours without any rain getting in. Very pleased with the end result. 

Very pleased with the work carried out. They guys were very respectful and easy to talk to about the job. Any issues that arose were resolved quickly and as they took less time to complete the job quoted for Dan knocked money off to reflect that.

The guys on Dan's team did a great job. There were delay issues with scaffolding which was a bit stressful since we were working to a tight deadline but thanks to Lucy in the office who kept us informed and chased things up for us it was all good in the end. Would certainly use again and recommend to others.

Dan and his team were very efficient in replacing the roof on my bathroom/kitchen extension, and they did a great job. For various reasons there was a slight delay but this was due to circumstances beyond his control and he was very apologetic and kept me informed at all times. He also took time to identify some additional work needed that is beyond the remit of his company, but I was pleased that he took time to tell me about it.

Dan gave us a very competitive quote for the work and they were able to begin in a short time considering the COVID situation. Despite problems with scoffolding they continued to work extremely hard and did a fantastic job, very communicable and friendly, we were able to talk with the crew about the job and they answered all our questions and made sure we were 100 % happy with the work. I cant fault their can-do attitude despite issues with the scaffolding which were not their fault, I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Dan was great, very good at communicating when he would be around, always contactable and did a good job. Unfortunately he couldn’t quite finish due to covid occurring but I have faith he will come and finish (just 2 more tiles, but the roof is sound) as soon as the current situation clears.

Very happy with Dan's work. He looked at our roof and recommended air tiles to solve our sweating lining and get air movement in the loft.
Other quotes did not give us this option.
